Anandhi Texstyles has a Fairtrade Society as contract productions (CPs) in the name of “ANANDI FARMERS ASSOCIATION – PALAMEDU“ (FLO ID: 36615) and “ANANDI FARMERS ASSOCIATION – PICHAMPALAYAM“ (FLO ID: 44531). All these societies are registered under SECTION 10, CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION OF SOCIETIES, TAMILNADU. The Fairtrade Premium is an additional sum of money which goes into a communal fund for workers and farmers to use – as they see fit – to improve their social, economic and environmental conditions.
ANANDI FARMERS ASSOCIATION – PALAMEDU has a project area with 917 farmers as its members. A Sum of Rs. 75.8 Lakes has been received as a premium from Anandi Texstyles in the year of 2020-2021.
ANANDI FARMERS ASSOCIATION – PITCHAMPALAYM has a project area with 1000 farmers as its members. It is a newly registered society started in 2023.
The Program is implemented to address trade imbalances, besides offering traders, retailers and ultimately consumers, a powerful way to contribute to impacting the lives of many disadvantaged producers & labourers. It promotes agricultural, socio-economic development and environmental safety.
